Photo Journal: Chilling in the cherry blossoms

A Japanese white-eye in search of nectar sits on a branch of a Taiwan cherry tree, in Motobu, Okinawa Prefecture. The subtropical forests of the town's 453-meter Mount Yae are being decorated with the blooming flowers. There are around 7,000 Taiwan cherry trees along the mountain's slopes and along roads leading to the summit. (Mainichi)
