Japan Airlines' new "Doraemon Jet," a Boeing 767 passenger plane featuring an illustration of the popular robotic manga and anime character Doraemon, is seen at Haneda Airport upon its unveiling on Sept. 21. The company will fly the plane mainly on international routes to and from Shanghai in China, where Doraemon is popular. The plane bears a huge picture of Doraemon on the front part of its fuselage. It is the third Doraemon-themed aircraft since the first "Doraemon Jet" was launched in 2010. It will be the first Doraemon-painted jet to fly on international flights. (Mainichi)
