Photo Journal: Fish fantasy

A school of 70,000 sardines lit by pink light swim in a tank accompanied by music during their "Super Sardine Illusion: Blowing Cherry Blossoms" show at Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise in Yokohama's Kanazawa Ward on March 4, 2017. The 8-meter-high tank holds 1,500 tons of water and features an imitation tree trunk placed in the center to create the illusion that the flurry of fish are cherry blossom petals blowing in the wind. Sea Paradise's new take on flower viewing can be enjoyed until May 7, with one morning and four afternoon shows on weekdays, and one morning show, one noon show, and four afternoon shows on weekends and holidays.
