The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's "aircraft carrier-type" escort vessel "Kaga," foreground, is seen from a Mainichi Shimbun helicopter in Yokohama after the vessel was put into commission on March 22, 2017. The flat-top helicopter destroyer is the country's second ship of its kind, measuring some 248 meters in length, after the destroyer "Izumo," which is seen at rear in this photo.
