Three members of the all-girl pop group Keyakizaka46 fell ill during a performance at the 68th "Kohaku Uta Gassen" (Red and white song battle) on Dec. 31.

Miyu Suzumoto, who seemed to be the worst affected, fell backward as the group members positioned themselves in a triangular formation at the end of the song, "Fukyowaon."

Another member of the group, Yurina Hirate, appeared to be unstable during the act -- prompting co-performer Teruyoshi Uchimura to ask her if she was all right. Hirate nodded to indicate that she was able to keep performing, but the singer struggled to maintain her pose at the end of the act, with her hands visibly shaking.

Footage of Suzumoto's collapse and Hirate's unstable condition were posted online, prompting concerns about the performers' welfare.

According to one source, a total of three pop group members -- Suzumoto, Hirate and Manaka Shida -- were unwell during the act, and all were hyperventilating. A nurse who was on standby attended to the three performers, and they reportedly all felt better and got some rest backstage.
