Photo Journal: Night delight

A weeping cherry tree in full bloom is lit up at Rikugien, a Japanese garden from the Edo period, in Tokyo's Bunkyo Ward on March 22, 2018. The tree is approximately 70 years old, about 15 meters high and its branches stretch out about 20 meters. Naofumi Murohoshi, 49, the head of the garden, said, "The tree is a different shape and color at night than in the day." The blossoms can be enjoyed until the end of March. For inquiries, call the garden at 03-3941-2222 in Japanese. (Mainichi)
