Photo Journal: Time standing still

A man and his wife visit the collapsed home of a resident who died in a magnitude-6.7 quake that hit Japan's northernmost prefecture of Hokkaido, on the morning of Sept. 13, 2018 -- one week after the temblor. The man, who was a classmate of the deceased resident during junior high school, had seen the resident doing well on the day before the earthquake. "Time is standing still for me," he said.
