Photo Journal: Sweet fortune

Priestesses at Kinomiya Shrine in Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture, prepare cocoon-shaped good luck rice cakes for the New Year. The cakes are made in six different colors and decorated on branches of Japanese clovers. About 3,000 sets will be prepared by late December, with their prices ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 yen each.
