Photo Journal: Fabulous figures

Traditionally dressed "hina-ningyo" dolls modeled on Japanese wrestler Saori Yoshida, right, and rugby player Ayumu Goromaru are unveiled at the head office of Tokyo doll maker Kyugetsu on Jan. 27, 2016. The company unveiled dolls of figures expected to make headlines this year ahead of Japan's "Hinamatsuri," or Doll Festival Day, on March 3. Also displayed were dolls representing House of Representatives legislator Shinjiro Koizumi and U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The company says the male dolls are 43 centimeters tall and the female ones 40 centimeters tall. They weigh about 2 kilograms each, and took about a month and a half to make. (Mainichi)
