Mainichi Shimbun extras reporting the news that Japan's Yoshinori Ohsumi won the 2016 Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine are distributed in Tokyo's Minato Ward on the evening of Oct. 3, 2016. About 4,000 copies were distributed in the Tokyo metropolitan area. They were received in front of Shimbashi Station by office workers and students returning from prospective job offer sessions. One researcher from Yokohama commented, "Almost every year Japanese are receiving prizes, and I feel there is a lot that Japanese can do to contribute to humanity." (Mainichi)
