Photo Journal: Frosted Fuji

The peak of Mount Fuji is seen covered with snow on Oct. 26, 2016, as the Kofu Meteorological Office in Yamanashi Prefecture announced Japan's highest peak's first snowcap this season. The cap developed 26 days later than in normal years, and tied the latest cap ever recorded since observation began in 1894. The previous record was set in 1956. (Mainichi)
