Photo Journal: Getting wind of spring

A girl and her parents walk hand-in-hand amid strong winds in front of JR Sakuragicho Station in Yokohama, on Feb. 17, 2017. The Japan Meteorological Agency announced that spring southerlies led to warm temperatures and high wind speeds in the Kanto and Hokuriku regions that day. The spring winds arrived three days later than last year. Temperatures were expected to fall again on Feb. 18 as air pressure levels returned to winter norms. (Mainichi)
