Pedestrians stop to enjoy early blooming cherry trees in Nagoya's Higashi Ward on March 23, 2017. The blossoms reached full bloom two days earlier. The trees planted on this 1.4-kilometer-long street are believed to be the earliest to bloom in Nagoya. According to the Nagoya Municipal Government, best viewing is likely to last until around March 26, though the blossoms can be enjoyed through the end of the month. (Mainichi)
