Photo Journal: Last legs
(Mainichi Japan)
The remains of a crab model sit just above a signboard for a restaurant in Shiraoi, Hokkaido, on Sept. 18, 2017, after four of its legs fell off the 18-meter-tall poles due to strong winds triggered by Typhoon Talim. Nobody was injured in the incident but the legs -- weighing a total of around 1 metric ton -- hit and damaged cars belonging to three employees of the restaurant, "Kani Goten," which means "crab palace" in English.
