Wrestling: Susaki, Okuno win gold, Kawai silver at worlds

BUDAPEST (Kyodo) -- Japan's Yui Susaki and Haruna Okuno won their women's weight class finals at the world wrestling championships on Thursday, while Yukako Kawai settled for silver.

In her 50-kilogram freestyle bout, the 19-year-old Susaki, the 48-kg world champion in 2017, beat Mariya Stadnik of Azerbaijan by technical fall.

At 53-kg, Okuno, the 55-kg champion last year, trounced American Sarah Ann Hildebrandt 11-0.

In the 62-kg division, Kawai succumbed to Taybe Mustafa Yusein of Bulgaria 6-2.
