Osaka Toin High School players celebrate their victory in the 98th All Japan High School Rugby Tournament at Hanazono Rugby Stadium in the city of Higashiosaka, Osaka Prefecture, in western Japan, on Jan. 7, 2019. Osaka Toin defeated Toin Gakuen, of Kanagawa Prefecture in eastern Japan, 26-24 to clinch the tournament for the first time. Osaka Toin appeared in the final for the second year in a row. Toin Gakuen reached the final for the sixth time and for the first time in three tournaments. Although Toin Gakuen shared victory in the 90th tournament in 2010 with Higashi Fukuoka, of Fukuoka Prefecture in southern Japan, Toin Gakuen is yet to raise the trophy on its own.
