Giant streamers are seen in the water off the coast of the town of Kushimoto in the western Japan prefecture of Wakayama on April 23, 2019. The tuna and bonito streamers were placed in the water by members of a union of 22 diving businesses in the town ahead of Children's Day on May 5. Nine members tied the streamers to metal stakes driven into rocks located about 15 meters below the surface, at a diving spot about 200 meters from the shore. A total of 15 streamers, each measuring between 2 and 5 meters in length, will remain on display underwater until May 6.
