Pyrethrum flowers, a member of the daisy family, are seen in full bloom in an about 2,000-square-meter terraced field overlooking a fishing port on Innoshima Island, in Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture, on May 10, 2019. On the island in the Seto Inland Sea between the Japanese main islands of Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu, the flowers were once widely cultivated for producing mosquito repellent coils. Now, four large fields of the daisies attract tourists to the island. The flowers will be in bloom until mid-May, according to the local tourism association.
