Gold fish are colorfully lit up in a unique shaped aquarium at a summer event titled "Art Aquarium" at Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall in Tokyo's Chuo Ward in this recent photo. During the special exhibition in the Nihonbashi district, a historic commercial center in the capital, about 10,000 gold fish are on display in large artistic aquariums. The organizer aims to combine the Japanese traditional summer culture of feeling cool by watching gold fish swim that spread in the Edo period (1603-1868) with modern technology. The event will run until Sept. 23, 2019. For inquiries, call the organizer on 03-3270-2590 in Japanese.
