N. Korea may have fired ballistic missile from submarine: S. Korea

SEOUL (Kyodo) -- A projectile North Korea fired early Wednesday may have been a submarine-launched ballistic missile, or SLBM, according to South Korea's presidential office.

South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said the ballistic missile was launched from the sea north of Wonsan in the eastern part of North Korea.
