Haneda Airport's Terminal 2 without water for 2nd day
(Mainichi Japan)
TOKYO -- Haneda Airport's Terminal 2 continued to be without running water on the morning of Nov. 7 after the supply was cut the previous day due to complaints that the water tasted "salty."
Tap water became unavailable at the airport's two domestic terminals on the morning of Nov. 6. It was restored at Terminal 1 by around 11 a.m. However, there is as yet no estimate for when the water supply will resume in Terminal 2, and many restaurants and bars have been forced to close.
Airport Facilities Co., the firm responsible for the airport's water supply, is working to restore water service at the airport, but has been unable to determine the causes of the irregular taste.
