Tokyo sees coronavirus cases top 30 again

TOKYO -- The number of people who were confirmed to be newly infected with the novel coronavirus in Japan's capital topped 30 on June 2, sources close to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government told the Mainichi Shimbun.

    It is the first time in 19 days that the daily number of new coronavirus cases has reached the 30 mark since May 14, when the figure also stood at 30.
