TOKYO -- American musician Bruno Mars is the producer of a new song by popular Japanese boy band Arashi to be digitally released on Sept. 18, it was announced on the band's official website.
Arashi will be taking a break from band activities at the end of 2020. Bruno Mars apparently produced the song "Whenever You Call" after observing the band's past songs and concerts to represent the feelings of the five members -- that they will always be with their fans even after their activities come to a halt. It will be Arashi's first ever song with all of the lyrics in English.
"Whenever You Call" will be streamed online from midnight on Sept. 17, and a music video is planned to be released on the band's official YouTube account as well as other media from 1 p.m. on Sept. 18.
