Video News: 117-yr-old Japanese woman, world's oldest person, savors celebratory chocolate

FUKUOKA -- A 117-year-old Japanese woman recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's oldest living person received a congratulatory certificate festooned with chocolates to honor her long life ahead of Respect for the Aged Day in Japan, and munched her favorite sweets.

The Fukuoka Municipal Government released a video of Kane Tanaka, a resident of the southwestern Japan city's Higashi Ward, on Sept. 14, a week before the national holiday. The video shows the supercentenarian stuffing her mouth with a piece of the chocolate.
