Studio Ghibli releases 400 images from 'Spirited Away,' 'Ponyo,' other top titles online

Studio Ghibli Inc. has announced on its website that it will start releasing images from all of its titles online, including the popular works "Spirited Away" and "Ponyo" from this month.

    A handwritten message from Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki posted on the website at http://www.ghibli.jp/ asked for people to use the images "within the bounds of common sense."

    This month, 50 images each from a total of eight titles -- "When Marnie Was There," "The Tale of Princess Kaguya," "The Wind Rises," "From Up on Poppy Hill," "The Secret World of Arrietty," "Ponyo," "Tales from Earthsea," and "Spirited Away" were released, for a total of 400 images.
