Japan Photo Journal: Cosmos camouflage

(Mainichi/Naohiro Yamada)

A visitor is seen in a field full of cosmos flowers, which are at their best for sightseeing, in the town of Toyono, Osaka Prefecture, in western Japan, in this recent photo. About 1 million cosmos flowers consisting of pale pink, red, white and other colors grew to a height of about an average adult in the garden, measuring some 10,000 square meters. Visitors were seen strolling along promenades weaving through the flower fields amid the mid-autumn weather.
