Mascots of the popular "Pokemon" character Pikachu are seen putting on a show during the Sagamiko Illumination event at the Sagamiko Resort Pleasure Forest outdoor facility in the city of Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture, in this recent photo. The display in the city's Midori Ward, which uses roughly 6 million LED lights, is the largest of its kind in the Kanto region. The event this year features the "Pokemon Illumination" in the summit area. A show in which Pikachu mascots light up the area is held on weekends and holidays. Staff at the resort facility are taking visitors' temperatures, and asking guests to disinfect their hands and wear masks as part of coronavirus countermeasures. The event will run until April 4, 2021.
