TOKYO (Kyodo) -- AC Milan women's Yui Hasegawa marked her league debut with a brace on Saturday as they stormed past Bari 6-1 in Italy's Serie A.
The midfielder scored a free kick in the 31st minute for a 4-0 lead and flicked in a cross on the hour mark for her side's fifth before she was replaced six minutes later.
Hasegawa, who joined Milan this winter from Nippon TV Beleza, made her first appearance for her new club during a Coppa Italia quarterfinals against Sassuolo on Feb. 13.
Hasegawa came through the ranks at Beleza and helped them claim five straight league titles from 2015.
The 24-year-old has eight goals in 42 games for Nadeshiko Japan since her senior national team debut in 2017 and played in the 2019 World Cup in France.
