TOKYO -- Kazunari Ninomiya of J-pop group Arashi, which went on hiatus at the end of 2020, announced the birth of his first child -- a girl -- via his management company Johnny & Associates on March 5.
Ninomiya, 37, announced in November 2019 that he had married. A statement from Ninomiya regarding the birth read, "Recently, our first child, a girl, was born. We're relieved she was born safely. From now on I will be supporting my family as a father, and working with more devotion than before. I would be very grateful if everybody could watch over us warmly."
He also acknowledged the efforts of medical workers, saying, "We want to thank again all the medical staff for the selfless support they gave us during the coronavirus crisis."
