(Mainichi/Yukihiro Takeuchi)

Giant panda Rauhin, left, and her cub Fuhin bite into bamboo at the Adventure World theme park in Shirahama, Wakayama Prefecture, on May 9, 2021. Carrots and bamboo in the shape of carnations were given to 20-year-old Rauhin on Mother's Day. Rauhin was born at the park in 2000, and is now in her early 60s in human years. Since 2008, she has given birth to 10 cubs with her partner Eimei. The experienced mama panda breastfeeds Fuhin, a female panda born last November, once or twice a day.
