China warns against Japan's vaccine provision to Taiwan

BEIJING (Kyodo) -- The Chinese Foreign Ministry warned Friday against Japan's provision of novel coronavirus vaccines to Taiwan, calling the move a "political performance."

    Earlier in the day, the Chinese government criticized Taiwan for accepting more than 1 million doses of the vaccine developed by Britain's AstraZeneca Plc from Japan, saying the island's ruling party, "has blocked vaccine shipments from the mainland."
