Elderly driver slams car into supermarket in Japan, 3 injured

This partially altered photo taken from Twitter shows the car that crashed into a supermarket.

YATSUSHIRO, Kumamoto -- A car driven by a man in his 70s crashed into a supermarket in this southwest Japan city at around 6:20 p.m. on Dec. 8.

    According to the Kumamoto Prefectural Police's Yatsushiro Police Station, three women in the store were taken to the hospital, but they were all conscious.

    Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
