TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Japan women's rugby 15s head coach Lesley McKenzie and three players who are in Australia for a three-test series have tested positive for the coronavirus, the Japan Rugby Football Union said Friday.

The four, who took antigen tests, are isolating, the JRFU said. The first case was detected when a player developed a fever on Thursday, leading to COVID-19 testing for the entire team.

The rest of the Sakura Fifteen have been cleared to face an invitational Barbarians side on Friday and fifth-ranked Australia next Tuesday. Japan, ranked 12th in the world, beat Fiji 28-14 in Sunday's series opener.
