East Japan city installs sanitary boxes in men's rooms for incontinence pad users

KUMAGAYA, Saitama -- The municipal government of this eastern Japan city installed sanitary disposal boxes in men's rooms on May 23 for those who use bladder control pads.

    The Fukaya Municipal Government in Saitama Prefecture has responded to requests from men who use incontinence pads due to prostate or urinary bladder cancer and wish to dispose of them while on the go.

    The disposal boxes were installed at a total of 42 restroom stalls for men on the first floor of 16 public facilities such as the city hall's main building and community centers.
