CHIBA (Kyodo) -- Shuta Ishikawa threw eight innings of three-hit ball as the SoftBank Hawks won 3-0 against the Lotte Marines on Tuesday in the Pacific League.

Kenta Imamiya drove in two Hawks runs at Zozo Marine Stadium, helping the visitors move two games behind the Seibu Lions after the PL-leading club suffered a 5-3 walk-off defeat against the Nippon Ham Fighters.

Ishikawa (4-6) gave up two doubles but showed great control overall in a 117-pitch effort, striking out nine without issuing a walk before Livan Moinelo worked a scoreless ninth for his 16th save.

Lotte starter Enny Romero (8-6) fanned five in the first two innings but gave up the opening run in the third when Imamiya doubled to deep left-center field with a runner on first and two outs.

Imamiya plated another run in the fifth, this time with a one-out single on a hit-and-run play, with Ukyo Shuto sprinting around the bases from first to score his second run of the game.

With two runners on, Yuki Yanagita drove in Imamiya for the game's final run as Romero surrendered his fourth straight single of the inning.

Romero struck out 10 over six innings but allowed eight hits and a walk to take the loss.

Kensuke Kondo blasted a walk-off three-run homer in the ninth for Nippon Ham against Seibu, while the Orix Buffaloes beat the Rakuten Eagles 5-1.

Masato Morishita (9-6) had a five-hitter against the Central League-leading Yakult Swallows as the Hiroshima Carp won 2-0.
