DEER VALLEY, Utah (Kyodo) -- Japan's Anri Kawamura settled for fifth in Thursday's freestyle skiing moguls World Cup round, snapping a winning streak over her three previous events on the tour.
Beijing Olympic gold medalist, Jakara Anthony of Australia, won the eighth event of the season on 80.15 points, followed by Jaelin Kauf of the United States and Perrine Laffont of France.
Kawamura topped the first run of the final in Deer Valley, but the 18-year-old lost her balance and fell on the decisive second run.
