(Sean, Saori and Anne are talking about a missing boy)
Sean: Did you hear the news about the boy who went missing from a park?
Saori: I don't know much about it, but yeah.
Anne: It sounded really suspicious to me when the boy's friend's father got a lawyer right away.
Sean: Well, he was the last person who was seen with the boy, and I think usually whoever is last seen with a missing person is considered a suspect, at least at first.
Anne: But I don't think that if I were innocent, my first instinct would be to get myself a lawyer or a team of lawyers. I'd just cooperate with the investigation in the best way I can.
Saori: People could be worried about wrongful convictions.
Anne: I guess there's always a chance of that, but would you lawyer up if you were in the same position? Think about it. You and your family friends go on an outing to a park for a barbecue. There are about 20 people there. One of them — your son's friend — disappears, and the police question you, as they do everyone else. And two days later, you have a lawyer? Sounds fishy to me.
