眠りが浅い人 light sleeper
Kenichi: How was your trip with colleagues?
Rachel: It was fun. We stayed at a really nice cottage with easy hiking trails nearby with great views. There was a wood-burning stove indoors where we roasted marshmallows. I taught everyone how to make s'mores.
Kenichi: Sounds like you had a good time.
Rachel: I did. But I stayed in a room with Miki-san, and she turned out to be the lightest sleeper on the planet.
Kenichi: How light?
Rachel: I think that my turning the pages of the book I was reading actually woke her up.
Kenichi: You're exaggerating.
Rachel: I'm not! You know I don't snore, right?
Rachel: I'm generally a quiet sleeper.
Rachel: So the first night, Miki-san went to sleep earlier than me. I was only reading, but she kept waking up and asking me, "Nani?"
Kenichi: Maybe she was dreaming.
Rachel: I don't know. But the next day, she bought ear plugs.
Kenichi: Did they work?
Rachel: I guess not, because I apparently woke her up when I tiptoed to the bathroom. Even when I just rolled over in my bed, I felt like I was creating so much noise.
