かゆい所に手が届く attentive and thorough
(Rachel and Kenichi are at a hot-spring resort where they are enjoying a weekend getaway)
Rachel: This hotel is so beautiful. The view is amazing. The food is great. And I love the hiking trails around the hotel.
Kenichi: It's not just the hotel itself, but the service also has been great. It's like they can reach where it's really itchy.
Rachel: I don't know what you mean or what kind of extra service you're receiving that I'm not, but you're going to have to explain that in detail to me.
Kenichi: It's when someone is paying such great attention to your needs that you feel like all your itches are being scratched.
Rachel: Oh, so you're saying the service here at the hotel is attentive and thorough.
Rachel: Gotcha. That's a funny expression, but I get it. Oh, and last but not least, we even have our own private outdoor tub!
Kenichi: (Sneezes) I just wish I didn't have allergies to pollen.
Rachel: Poor thing. I wish you didn't have allergies, either. At least they have an air purifier in the room, but I guess no luxury hotel can help you with your allergies when you go outdoors for a dip in the tub.
Kenichi: Yes, but the view helps ease the pain.
